...Neither Death...

When Adam and Eve bit the apple in the Garden, so long ago. It was a catalyst. I imagine in my mind's eye that there was an invisible, quiet moving and shaking as their eyes were "opened". I imagine...mournfulness. Painful, anguish upon concession that a grievous harm had been done. It had to be soul shaking... it had to be as...death. When the blasphemous deed has been consummated in their mind, translated into their heart and devastated their souls.
Now they found each other alone...their Father no longer...available to nourish their bodies...their souls... He cannot be apart of their lives any longer for they are now...unclean, defiled and rebellious.
They must leave the haven of provision. They must till the barren land. They must birth their children in this land ripe with sorrow. By the sweat of their brow they now work, until...they die.
But...
who dares interfere with the love a father has for his son? Who would dare get between a mother and her newborn baby? Nothing has power against the Father's love. Not rebellion nor death.

We have, by the power and blood of Christ Jesus, been reconciled unto the Father. We have the ESSENCE of Him, the ANOINTING of Him.

We have....what Adam and Eve lost.

Why do we doubt his love, why do we not trust Him fully? Why do we obsess of our unworthiness to receive him? Why do we plague our minds with insecurities when we have the LOVE a Father has for his child?

We don't need anything, but the acceptance of Christ's sacrifice, which is WORTHY of everything, all and beyond we can give praise for. The sacrifice that gives us BACK what was lost. To dwell with Him. And live in a haven of spiritual provision. To receive nourishment to our souls. To hear Him, yes...speak to Him. You are His and He is yours through the courtesy of His Son.

So protect it. Protect what was lost and now is found. Let nothing interfere with a Father's Love.

Go ahead...read the book, spend some time with the Him. You don't have to understand everything you read...you just have to believe him...

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

  1. Great post Hannah! I do believe your getting into the spirit (pun unintended) of "fishing for men." :) Loved it. We all need a reminder that God's love is unconditional. Period.

  2. Hannah, that scripture from Romans takes my breath away. Nothing can separate us from the love of God - what an amazing, beautiful gift!
