Still Alive and Highly Favored!

Dearest Readers,

Please accept my sincerest apologies for my very silent blog. While I may be absent from the blog community, I'm most assuredly, not absent from my fight in defense of THE faith!! I cannot begin to express how dramatic these last two months have been for us. It seems as if everything is being thrown at us, one event after another. It is very CLEAR that Satan is doing everything in his power to shut us down! GOD BE PRAISED! For I am seen as a threat to the one who lies and deceives! Maybe some of you may call me crazy, but I cannot help but be honored, however tough these hardships are.

The 11th chapter of Hebrews is such a bolster to me. Biblical greats such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, Peter, Paul, and John all sacrificed their lives (and desires to live a certain way) BECAUSE of their faith, which is to truly be defined as their LOVE for HIM. Yet, WE ALL have NOT "resisted unto blood, striving against sin" (Hebrews 12:4) My hardships are minuscule in light of this.

Jesus, who is "the author and finisher of our faith" DID. (Hebrews 12:2)

We're very behind on bills, as a matter of fact, we received an eviction notice from the Landlord (not the first). We still don't have a car and I'm still walking 4 miles a day to take my daughter to and from school. A car would certainly make my life a whole lot easier, but the bottom line is, things are getting done. My daughter gets to school on time every day and is making good marks on her homework. I still have a roof over my head, however threatened. I still have food in my cupboards and my family not only gets three healthy meals a day, but we snack plentifully. Our daily needs are met. So we focus each day on the resources we have been given and operate accordingly. This is what I've come to understand, if God says our physical resources are good enough, then He has given me all that I need to operate. I, then, must be content with it. If I call Him "LORD" then I need to receive His allowances in my life as His divinity and will.
Christ says it so much better than I can in Luke 6:46-49:

"And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great"

Thinking of societies in poorer countries who barely have running water, food, clothing and shelter, I, most assuredly, live abundantly. While I'm pumping my legs up hills, pushing a (single) stroller laden with babies, I am convicted to call Him LORD with truth and faith.

May you all be blessed with abundance of growth, spiritually, in Him.

Hannah
