Passover - The Testimony and The Record

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is... no doubt greater. For it had been ordained by the Lord, the law of sin and death, the remission of sins (in singular form, as a collective) can only be done by (the shedding of) blood, which is death. And in times past, the accepted, method of this remission, was a sacrificial lamb. Christ, that sacrificial Lamb was foretold, in times past, during Passover, that it may, be a testimony and a record for us who believe on His blood-shed sacrifice TODAY as the power of Salvation found in Him.

Let the TRUE record show that Christ was our Passover Lamb (1 Corinthians 5:7). Crucified on a cross and resurrected during Pesach on this week centuries ago...

6This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.  1 John 5

The Witness (Holy Spirit) confirms the record by which Christ came...Water...His baptism by John the Baptist, by which God, Himself testified of His Son.

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased -- Matthew 3:17

I must declare, that Christ, who was without sin, needed no physical baptism, but it pleased the Father to have it done so. That it may be recorded and declared that Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the only Son of God, had indeed come in the flesh.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: --1 John 4:1

The Witness (Holy Spirit) confirms the record by which Christ came...Blood

28For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26

Sin, in it's singular sense, is a departure from God in heart,  resulting in departure from the Father in Spirit and ending in the displaying of manifestations of itself (sins). The Blood we believe on testifies of and confirms our (re)new(ed) covenant with God. That our restoration unto Himself lies solely upon our belief that Christ's death and then resurrection is sufficient, wholesome and perfect for reconciliation.  This thus is testified of the Witness, which reproves us of Christ's righteousness, that is to say, His Resurrection...righteous as PROOF in His triumph over death, once and for all.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

9Of sin, because they believe not on me;

10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; -- John 16

This is the physical record (Water and Blood) He has given us, which is testified of the Spirit. Now if any one declares that Christ has come in the flesh by any other means than what was testified, that person is not of Him.

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  -- 1 John 5

What is Easter, but an anti-declaration of this holy record? What is Easter, but the vain imaginations of carnal man? Sure Christ is spoken of and the last supper is observed during this "holy" week, but why would any God-fearing Believer take leave of a Holy Testimony and a righteous Record in Passover that proves and declares a Resurrected Christ?

Maschil of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

that the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:

That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:  - Psalms 78

The answer is: a God-fearing Believer wouldn't. So what are you? Mainstream Christians who proclaim the majesty of God are the same ones who buy into the holiness of Easter by the (false) witness of men established as a tradition centuries ago.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. - 1 John 5:9 By the Word of God, Easter has been debunked. But then, Christians already know that, after all  it is pretty obvious. What is not freely admitted is that Christians PREFER Easter to Passover for the their love of traditions more than the truth of testimonial of Passover. Listen to what Christ said to the Pharisee and compare:

Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. - Matthew 15:2-6

How much more have Today's Christians made the POWER OF THE CROSS of "none effect" by the tradition of Easter?? And how much more devastating are the consequences? Confusing, instead of winning the very souls Christ died for. Christians chide, condemn and parade for political causes. Participating in tea parties for the HOPE of nation that has long been stemmed in an APOSTATE Christianity. Ignoring the lies being told through their hypocrisy, they fail to realize is that those who ARE written in the Lamb's Book of Life WILL be judged according to their work (sharing of TRUTHFUL testimony). Is Easter  the "work" you will present before Him? Will it stand up to the fire He has prepared for all those who believe on His bloodshed sacrifice testified by Passover???

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.  - 1 Corinthians 3:12 - 13
